The sun’s rays continued to drone on and generously applied humidity to Nebraska’s afternoon. It was nearly seven o’clock and the big lout of a truck I was driving sounded exasperated, in agony the truck’s air-condition groaned as I sang loudly along to “let it raiinnnnn overrrr meeeeee!”
